Introduction

The blog is about Ethical Hackers and the Criminals. First of all I'm extremely thanks for being on my blog. Personally, I wanna tell you something important about myself that, this is my first blog over Internet. The purpose of this blog is to express, to share my thoughts and knowledge by using simple phrases about the nature of people in the world of technologies.

Hacking isn't a violation

There are so many people who don't believe hacking stuff in the world. But the reality is the world is full of hackers and doing their jobs on the daily bases. As hacking needs a lot of concentration, self-restraint, knowledge and hard working. As people scared to do hacking, if they do usually keep that secrete which they never wanna tell to someone other even with their friends and family. That's pretty virtuous and that's the only way to become a successful in your aims because this is the most important part of security mostly in Hacking. But usually people doesn't make that a secrete for a long interval of time. At last they share their friends and family and they called a famous personalities but still have nothing in their minds to do something for them. So, there are two categories of hackers:

1) Those who do penetration testing or something legal/illegal and keep that secrete.
2) Those who don't follow the security and share what's inside their mind about Hacking.
 According to the different categories there is the only thing that comes to our mind is Security.

Types Of Hackers

Hackers usually do the same thing but the only thing which makes a difference is Security which is the most important part of hacking. Following are the different types of hacker:

The Hacktivist

The group of hackers known as "ANONYMOUS". Anonymous are the nebulous group of hacker activist who involves in the several activities at a time. Nobody knows about them who they are but have a little information that they are legions and living at our surroundings. They commonly do hacking for any purpose but mostly they do whenever they wanna take revenge from a particular person, organization or a country. First they warn them and if the victim doesn't reply then they do hacking for their rights. Mostly they do DOS (Denial Of Service) and DDOS (Distributed Denial Of Service) attacks to take revenge from the world. Nobody knows about them that's why they are known as Anonymous.

Script Kiddie

The type of hackers but normally they don't care about hacking.  They may be write some script for viruses or may be copy that script from somewhere to use it for viruses, exploitation or MYSQL injection etc. They just download a source and watch the videos from internet about how to use that source for hacking purposes. Script kiddie mostly do DOS (Denial of service) and DDOS (Distributed Denial of service) attacks to down the services consistently over any website. But this kind of attacks mostly by a group of hackers called Anonymous.

White Hat Hackers

These type of hackers use their knowledge to help to enhance system security simultaneously discovering a security inadequacy, they do not exploit the flaws. They fully reveal all relative information to the affected users of the system, popular social media or software companies. Mostly, they work for a security company which makes software for security purposes or products that has ability to find vulnerabilities in the software before releasing it as a final product. They born only for protecting us from the criminals  that's why they are also known as "Ethical Hackers".

"To find vulnerabilities from a software or a website by passing out from different scenarios is known as penetration testing. They just penetrate to detect the flaws from that particular object(software or a website), just penetrate that object from different stages to test whether its working or not."

Grey Hat Hackers

The Grey hat hackers are neither black nor white hat hackers. Basically the combination of black and white hackers are known as Grey hackers. These types of hackers mostly available in the middle of white and black hat hackers. They usually do legal activities on the behalf of requesting some fee to the owner of targeted entity. If the owner doesn't reply for that then they can do illegal activities on the spot. The difference is if they do a penetration testing to someone's object without any permission. If they found any vulnerabilities from there then simply inform to the owner and ask to fix that vulnerabilities rather than cracking that. If the owner ask to fix that vulnerabilities to the penetration tester, sometimes they request for a small fee to fix that issues and do all the things legally. 

Black Hat Hackers

The black hat hacker is the opposite of the white hat hacker, they also do the penetration testing but the only difference is that their intentions are always for personal gain rather than for the society where they are living that's why they are also known as "Criminals". A black hat hacker is most likely what the commonly people thinks of when they perceive the word “Hacker”. A black hat hacker usually intended to gain profit from breaking into systems and securities that's why they are also called as "Crackers".

Why Hacker groups has a different names?

The whole world is full of hackers, scammers and criminals. They divides each other on the basis of their  intentions, behavior and working. Some of them do the legal activities and try to protect people from the bad activities happening over the internet every day, every time and every where. So they are called White Hat Hackers. From the rest of hackers always try to do illegal activities and take advantage of that for personal interest and don't care about rights of other people in the planet. That's why they are called Criminals.

Difference between Hackers and Criminals

The word hacker doesn't mean criminal. There's a big difference between both of them. On the basis of their behavior they are divided into different groups. Each and every group has similarities with each other but their intention and working is totally different from each others. The main difference between the white hat hacker and the criminal is their "Intentions". Criminal pay intention for personal gain while White hat came into existence for the betterment of people surviving over the internet every time. So, that's the only reason for calling them an Ethical Hackers.
